A genuine effort is made to accommodate your scheduling requirements, and the appointment coordinator will always call you 24 hours in advance to confirm your reserved time. If you find that a cancellation is necessary, kindly give the office staff at least 24 hours’ notice in order to avoid incurring a $125.00 charge.

Emergencies:

Whenever the office is closed, a personal answering service is on call at the primary office number, New York Office Phone Number 212-888-6311, and will contact me immediately in case of emergency.

Insurance and Reimbursement

Please ask whether your employer participates in a Direct Reimbursement Plan. Online information about such plans can be found at the website of the American Dental Association.

When extensive dental care is necessary, a total fee will be assessed for the case and financial arrangements will be discussed.

Dental Insurance:

If dental insurance is involved, the insurance coordinator at my office will assist you. My practice participates in a limited number of Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs). Please keep in mind that most dental procedures require patient copayments. The amount will be determined by your insurance company, depending on your contract and on the procedure performed. For major procedures, a predetermination (pretreatment estimate) can be submitted to assess your expected coverage. Note that most cosmetic procedures are not covered by dental insurance. You will find me sensitive to your financial circumstances and ready to be as helpful as I can.

Health and Safety Compliance

Our staff is dedicated to protecting your health and safety. We meet or exceed all guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control, OSHA, and the American Dental Association. The following are some of our protective measures:

  • Heat sterilizing instruments and handpieces after every patient.
  • Monitoring sterilization techniques to guarantee effectiveness.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting the chair, counters and other surface areas after every patient.
  • Wearing clinic gowns and face shields or masks.
  • Changing to a new pair of disposable gloves after every patient.
  • Using disposable (single-use) products.
  • Continuing education of our team and modernization of techniques to assure your health and safety.
